You weren't meant to live solely off
someone else's word from God.
You already know His voice. You've just been Taught not to trust it.
You don’t need more gifting.
You need to remember who God is and who you are to Him.
You've probably also seen what happens when gifting replaces character — and you want nothing to do with that.
The prophetic Gift isn't a
spiritual upgrade for elite believers.
It's the natural overflow of knowing you're God's child — and that your Father speaks to you.
Those convictions you've dismissed.
The dreams you've forgotten.
The "random" thought about someone that turned out to be true.
That was Him.
You've been hearing God all along.
You just didn't know you had permission to trust it.
Here's your permission:
You're His.
He speaks.
You hear His voice.

Jesus says, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." – John 10:27
This isn't a promise for the especially gifted. It's a statement about who you already are.
the prophetic is as simple as remembering two things:

He's not distant. He's not silent. He's not disappointed. He's your Father, and He delights in talking to His kids.
Jesus came to do one thing — reveal the Father. Through the cross He established a new covenant and gave us a person — the Holy Spirit — to make that relationship personal, ongoing, and real. -
You're not too broken, too new, or too ordinary. You're His child. And His children know His voice.
That's it. That's the whole thing.
Everything else — the dreams, the gifts, the breakthrough moments — flows from that.

Hi, I'm Betsy Jacobs. I didn't grow up expecting to be here.
I was a cessationist — I believed the gifts of the Spirit had ceased with the biblical apostles. I had theology. I had structure. I was even a youth pastor. But I didn't have a living, personal experience of God's voice.
Then one night, alone in my room, I heard an audible voice: "Seek the Holy Spirit." Everything changed.
Since then I've helped believers in local churches and around the world — in Haiti, Brazil, and Africa — move from spiritual uncertainty to walking clearly with God. I've also sat in rooms where the prophetic was used to control and manipulate, and I've helped people find their way back from that.
Both experiences shaped what I do here.
